PUSD OPEN SESSION- COMMENT SUBMISSION

"OPEN SESSIONS" SUBMIT COMMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

Your subject line should be one of the 4 headings in "CAPS" below along with some suggestions and questions you can noodle on.

1) "COMMUNITIES COMMUNICATE & COLLABORATE" - Write and ask questions about what happened with communicating with the community about these issues? What efforts are being made to keep the community informed? Why are board members not listening to their constituents?

2) "PUSD TRANSPARENCY NOW" - We need PUSD to be transparent with us on their process, procedures, and decisions. Let the community and constituents be a part of your solution. Making an announcement in a newspaper no one reads is not enough. Please show effort, you could have publicly post it on your website, send out email notices to the community, etc. There are so many options to communicate and have PUSD be transparent.  

3) "DO THE RIGHT THING, COSTCO IS NOT A SCHOOL" - Did we get the best consultant/advisors for the job? Is it the best use of the land?  The environment? Consider redoing the RFP proccess with reputable industry experts? Why circulate the RFP at least favorable time for the industry from Dec-Feb?  We need better proposals.

4) "WHERE IS OUR VOICE? WHAT'S OUR CHOICE?" - We placed a timely request to be on the agenda, what happened? Why are we not on there?  Where are we to voice our concerns? What choices are you leaving us?
